John C Williams has many years experience as a performing and recording musician. John graduated from the Elder Conservatorium of Music, Adelaide University with his main interest jazz guitar and composition. He has also played in rock, folk, pop, funk, electronica and blues bands.  John soon developed international  playing experience,  playing in clubs in Australia, UK and China.  He has recorded solo in Jazz guitar and collaborated with various other musicians. John’s music gained the attention of filmmakers and he has now composed sound  tracks for several short films. John has contributed to the sound design in a feature film “Left side of night” by Beijing film maker Duo Ma. John’s music and sound design can be heard on Biotech 8 and Mr Morag’s helical dreams.   John works extensively with sound engineering programmes and has developed a keen interest in sound design for film. The ear training inherent in improvisation has given him valuable skills in the creation and sculpting of the sound for listeners.

John has developed expertise in sound Foley production. Sound effects added to his ability to compose original music and has made him an ‘all rounder’ for  film sound design.

John works with various software including Pro tools and Ableton live and has an extensive sound library  for creating the right sound for any film production.

John also has an interest in Live performance of his classy, unique style jazz guitar. His original musical compositions  charm audiences and create a mood for any venue .

Based in Port Lincoln South Australia , John travels extensively and is also available for live performance.
